Church Wide Ministry

  1. Alliance Vision Prayer: “O God, with all our hearts, we long for You. Come, transform us to be Christ-centred, Spirit-empowered, Mission-focused people, multiplying disciples everywhere.”
  2. The Elder Board is proposing changes to the existing bylaw with regards to membership meetings. A townhall meeting (in English & Mandarin) will be held on Sunday May 26, 12:45-1:45pm in the Dynamic Center. Please bring your own lunches. A special membership meeting to vote on this change will be held on Sunday June 16 at 2pm (online). Please download and read the “2024 ECAC Proposed Bylaw Change Package.” Paper copies are available at the office upon request. 
  3. Summer Student Intern 2024: We are looking for 2 summer interns who are over 18 for Children’s Ministry and other additional programs/activities, full time ($15.00/hr & 30 hr/week) for 9 weeks from mid-June to mid-August. If you are interested in applying, please send in your resume to phoebe.chan@ecac.ca by May 27.
  4. The Facility Maintenance Team would like to invite brothers and sisters to participate in parking lot patrols from 9am to 12:30pm during the EMC, CMC, and MMC services. Please sign up at the library area, or contact Stephen Yuen (EMC), Rocky To (CMC), Peter Tan (Church Custodian), Anlin Wen (MMC), your pastors, or the church office if you would like to sign up. We greatly appreciate more participation from brothers and sisters
  5. Cambodia STM is May 30 to June 14: Ten church members will join with the Work of Your Hand ministry, including after-school camps, healthcare awareness, Bible studies, and visitations. Visit wordpress.com to keep updated. $28,180.50 out of $41,300 has been raised so far. If you would like to give, please mark “Cambodia STM” on your offering.We’re also accepting donations of new or lightly used hockey sticks of all sizes. Drop off at the fireplace in the church lobby.Please pray for the team & their ministry.
  6. The second Senior Pastor’s lecture series will be held on Tuesdays May14, 21, 28 from 8:30-10pm.

English Ministry

  1. EMC Sunday School: Room 139 from 9:30 AM to 11: 00 AM. The Holy Sexuality Project course by Dr. Christopher Yuan. The curriculum thoroughly gospel-centered video study on sex, sexuality, and gender.

JMC-Youth & Children Ministry

  1. TODAY and May 26 Family Worship: There will be Family Worship TODAY due to Victoria Day and May 26 due to Cambodia Missions Commissioning. All Children are encouraged to join their parents for worship on those two Sundays.
  2. June 2 Last Day of Deep Divers: The Deep Divers will end on June 2. We encourage all parents to appreciate our leaders through words of encouragement and gratitude who have been serving with us throughout the past year!
  3. David Camp 2024: We have 10 extra spots for boys who completed Grade 3-8 in our camp. If you are interested in registering for our overnight camp from August 5-9, please email camp.ecac@gmail.com
  4. Wee Care: for 9:15am during CMC and MMC worship is currently open on every 4th Sunday of the month.  Starting in June, Wee Care will open for every 3rd and 4th Sunday of the month for 9:15am (open June 16 and June 23).  To serve in wee care, please contact Bobo or Jen in person or through email, weecare@ecac.ca
