1. After months of prayerful discernment and interviews, the Elder Nominations Committee are nominating the following individuals to the ECAC Board of Elders for the 2025-2026 term: Phil Chow, Ryan Ho (incumbent), Jimmy Kwong (incumbent), Ken Lam, Richard Li, and Simon Roa, Joannes Wong (incumbent), and William Wong (incumbent). A printed copy of the Report of the Elder Nominations Committee and the profiles of each nominee are posted on the bulletin board outside the office.

Any current voting member of ECAC may nominate any current member to the Board of Elders in accordance with ECAC’s bylaw section 7.4. Nominations must be submitted to the chairman of the Elder Nomination Committee (i.e., Pastor Arthur Wong) no later than 11:59:59pm TODAY.

2. The agenda for the Annual Membership Meeting (Sunday, November 17 at 2pm on Zoom) has been sent to all current ECAC members. The agenda is also posted on the bulletin board outside the office. If you are a current member of ECAC and did not receive the agenda, please send email to amm@ecac.ca as soon as possible.
3. Active Membership List – Please check it out on the church bulletin board. If you have any concerns, please contact the church office immediately.
4. Deadline for Donation in Kind for 2024: In order for the church to process all Donation In Kind and ensure that the donations are counted for the 2024 tax year, the deadline for making donation in kind of stocks, mutual funds and ETFs is onSunday, November 24, 2024. This means that a Completed DIK form MUST be submitted to Ken Lam (ken.lam@ecac.ca)  or Stewart Wong (stewart.wong@ecac.ca)  by November 24.  Any incomplete form or late submission may not be able to process in time to have the donation included in the 2024 tax year. 5. Senior Pastor Lecture Series in Nov/Dec: will be held on Tuesdays Nov 19, 26, Dec 3, 10 from 8:30-10pm. 6. Pastor Arthur & Rosanne, Pastor Phoebe will be attending the Western Canadian District Prayer Retreat from Nov. 4-7. Pastor Arthur will be on vacation from Nov. 8-14. 7. Pastor Michael will be on vacation from Nov 5-8. Winnie Lam will be on vacation from Nov 4-11. Diana Poon is on vacation today.
8. In the coming months, we will be creating a new space for the church library. If you are able and available to help move some books and shelves, come on Saturday, November 23, 3-5pm. For more information, speak with Pastor Arthur.
