1. Discernment weekend for our Elders and their families (Mar 7-9) – They are having their Sunday Service at the Strathcona Wilderness Center this morning. Please continue to pray for them while they are coming back this afternoon.
2. General Membership Meeting will be held in person on next Sunday, March 16 at 11:15am in the Dynamic Center. The agenda for the meeting has been emailed to all current ECAC members. The agenda is posted on the bulletin board outside the office, and is also available at the welcome desk. The quorum for the meeting is 130 active voting members. Members, please attend.
3. Special arrangements for General Membership Meeting on March 16:
- Joint English-Mandarin worship service in the Worship Center at 9:30am.
- Cantonese Ministry service will be held in the Dynamic Center at 9:30am.
- JMC’s The Discovery from 9:30-10:45am will take place as usual. Parents are asked to pick up their children promptly at 10:45am.
- Parents with young children (age 5-12) who are planning to attend the GMM have the option of leaving their children with leaders at the Dynamic Center at 11am.
- InTouch café will be closed on that Sunday. However, free coffee and tea will be provided.
4. Church Building & Facility Maintenance Team: Volunteer Opportunities
The Church Building and Facility Management Team is dedicated to enhancing our facilities to better serve God’s ministries at ECAC. Our goals include ensuring safe, functional, and welcoming spaces, promoting stewardship, and fostering a sense of ownership among our church family. We invite you to participate in upcoming maintenance events throughout the year.
Planned Events:
- Early to Mid-June: Parking Lot Clean-up(One Saturday)
- July (Post-VBS): Rear Chain-link Fence Installation(Up to three weeks)
- August (Post-David Camp): Church Classroom Repainting(Up to one week)
When planning your summer vacations, please consider volunteering for these events. Whether you can contribute a day, a few days, or a week, your participation is greatly appreciated. Further details will be shared in the coming weeks.
