Church Wide Ministry

  1. Thank you brothers & sisters who helped out at yesterday’s church parking lot cleanup. May God bless your service.
  2. The Board of Elders has approved a 6-month sabbatical leave for Pastor Phoebe Chan, from July 1 – December 31, 2025. While Pastor Phoebe is on leave, Christine Chan and Crystal Ng will coordinate the Children’s Ministry leadership team.The team leads for all JMC-Children ministry are displayed on the church office bulletin board. For more information, please speak with Pastor Arthur Wong, elder Jimmy Kwong, or elder Ken Lam. Please pray for Pastor Phoebe to have a rich time of reflection, renewal, refreshment, and rest.
  3. April 28 is Canada’s federal election. Elder Simon Roa and sister So Ling Tam are organizing transportation and language assistance for those who wish to participate in the election process but face mobility or language barriers. If you need or can provide transportation or language assistance, please sign up at the booth in the lobby after the service.
  4. Staff Away: Pastor Pamelina is attending C&MA Western District’s New Workers Retreat on April 28-30, and she will be on vacation May 1-4. Winnie Lam is on vacation till May 2.

  1. Short-Term Missions: God has opened the door for Cavan Chong to return to Southeast Asia this spring on a short-term missions trip with a Missions Organization called Crossworld. After faithfully serving in Southeast Asia last year with the ECAC team, Cavan is returning with a new team of Canadians to serve the people of Southeast Asia through village outreaches, sports camps, and other exciting discipleship opportunities! If you are interested in partnering with Cavan through prayer or support, you can ask him questions or find more information and updates at South East Asia STM 2025 or scan the QR Code. 
  2.  Celebration of Life Service for Jean FC Gunn: Jean FC Gunn (mother of Gary Gunn) went to be with the Lord in Vancouver in January.
