1. Good Friday Services: We will have 3 services on April 18.  Speaker: Pastor Arthur.  Mandarin at 9:30 am; Cantonese at 11:15 am; English at 6:30 pm.
2. After months of prayerful discernment, God has confirmed his calling on David Yip to serve as a Spiritual Director for the English Ministry Congregation. He joins the staff of ECAC as an Alliance-accredited lay (volunteer) minister starting April 1. His responsibilities include: (1) providing spiritual direction for individuals who seeks a deeper connection with God; (2) teaching the practices of spiritual formation; (3) offering ministry support to EMC leaders and ECAC’s pastoral staff; and (4) promoting spiritual direction and formation. 3. ORCHESTRA for 55th Anniversary celebration – Seeking brass or string instrumentalists who have at least grade 8 RCM (or equivalent) or previous EYO players. 4. Church Building & Facility Maintenance Team: Volunteer Opportunities:  We invite you to participate in these upcoming maintenance events:

• Church Parking Lot Clean-up on Saturday April 26 from 9-12pm. (Back up date May 10)
• Help install outer fencing for our church (this will take place between July 13 – August 1)
• Help repaint some of our classrooms (August 10 – 16)

Please fill out the Commitment Form at the welcome desk and return to the church office.

5. Community of Women Event – Enjoy a relaxing tea party and creative card-making session. Enjoy delicious handcrafted sweet and savoury treats provided by the beloved local bakery treats from Choccorant and a selection of teas. Then, create two cards with supplies from Stampin’ Up! Perfect for a mother-daughter date, or just a fun girls’ gathering.

Cost: $25 per person (includes food, tea, and all card-making supplies)

6. Pastor Michael will be attending a Mission Conference in Toronto from April 9-13.

7. Kitchen Supervisor Training: Groups using church kitchen and its equipment need to be booked by a certified supervisor who must be present during the event. All supervisors must attend the training to be certified. If you have not attended the Kitchen Supervisor Training in June 2024, you may sign up for the upcoming trainings on:   Friday, April 11, 5:45 to 7:15 pm, or Saturday, April 12, 2:15 to 3:45 pm
