1. Church-wide In-person Prayer Meeting: Wednesday, August 6, from 7:30 to 8:45 PM. David and Carolyn will be our guest speakers. Please come and join us.
2. Mission Fund Offering: By the end of June, we have received $58,586.38, only 33.16% of the budget ($182,000). As usual, by faith, we will send half of the budgeted funds to our supported organizations and international workers. Please remember and support the Mission Fund.
3. The Youth Short Term Mission Trip (August 16-23): Nick Li & Jeneya Ko will bring 9 youth to Port Moody in BC to serve in The House of Omeed. Please pray for them.
· $3,078 out of $6,000 has been raised so far. If you would like to give, please mark “Port Moody STM” on the offering envelope.
· 2 bake sales have raised $6,202 to support The House of Omeed and the mission trip.
4. Church Painting: The church will be painting all the classrooms, worship center and dynamic center from August 8-16. During this period, except for Sunday Worship Services and Sunday School classes, all these facilities will be closed. If your fellowship or small group has activities in the church during these days, please make other arrangement. Thank you for your consideration. · The 55th Anniversary ticket prices have been lowered in hopes for all to attend. Besides the banquet, the ticket includes usage of the hotel’s gym and pool on that day. A non-tax-deductible account has been set up for those who wish to help cover the shortfall. If you wish to make a thanksgiving offering toward the 55th anniversary celebration, please indicate “55th anniversary dinner” on your offering envelope or e-transfer message.
6. 55th Anniversary Special Joint Choir-presenting on Oct 12 JOINT service. Now recruiting members to join the adult choir. Rehearsals will be for 5 Sundays from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM starting Sep 7. Final rehearsal on Oct 7 at 7:30 PM. No experience required, must be Christian to join. To participate, please email alinaqq147@gmail.com with the subject, “55th Anniversary Choir Participation.
7. Women’s Health Workshop! Join the Community of Women for an empowering 2-hour interactive workshop on women’s health. Learn about key nutrition, cancer screening, and mental well-being from experts. (Cost: $15 Includes a nutritious lunch). Open to all females. 9. Pastor Pamelina is in Taipei until July 28 to teach and coach young adults attending the Rendezvous Taiwan 2025. Please pray for her as she travels and serves the young people. Please also pray for Jeneya Ko as she is attending as a participant.
10. Ordination Service for Pastor Miranda Yeung will be held on Sept 21 @2:30 PM. Please come and celebrate God’s grace.
