1. The report of the Elder Nominating Committee (ENC) has been posted on the church office bulletin board. Please review before the Annual General Meeting (November 16). After months of discernment and prayer, it seems good to the Holy Spirit and to the ENC that we nominate Anlin Wen for another two year term (2026-2027) as elder. If there are any questions, please contact any member of the ENC (Pastor Arthur, Jared Fath, Lena Cheung, Richard Li, and Jimmy Kwong).

In accordance with Article 7.4 of our bylaw, additional nominations for elders may be made by any voting member provided that: (a) the nomination is submitted to the chairman of the nominating committee (i.e., Pastor Arthur Wong) no later than two Sundays preceding the date of the meeting at which the election is to take place (i.e., November 2 at 11:59:59pm); and (b) the nomination bears the written acceptance of the nominee as well as the signature of a seconder who is a voting member.

2. The agenda for the Annual Membership Meeting (Sunday, November 16 at 11AM in the Dynamic Center) will be sent to all current ECAC members. The agenda is also posted on the bulletin board outside the office. The quorum for the meeting is 238 active voting members. Please mark your calendar to attend.
3. Special arrangements for Annual Membership Meeting on November 16:

• • Joint English-Mandarin worship service in the Worship Center at 9:30am.
  • Cantonese Ministry service will be held in the Dynamic Center at 9:30am.
  • JMC’s The Discovery from 9:30-10:45am will take place as usual. Parents are asked to pick up their children promptly at 10:45am.
  • InTouch café will be closed on that Sunday. However, free coffee and tea will be provided.

4. Please check your name on the membership list posted outside the office bulletin board. If you have any concerns, please contact the church office immediately.
5. A flu-vaccine clinic will be held TODAY from 9-9:30am, 10:45-11:15am, and 12:30-1pm in the church office area.
