1. The CMC will be hosting the 2026 “Love In the Lord Lunar New Year Festival” celebration on Saturday, February 14, 2026, 2:00–5:00 PM at the Dynamic Center. Activity highlights: food stalls, creative handicrafts, fun games, and photo opportunities *Calling All Booth Vendors!* – We are now accepting vendor applications for the Lunar New Year Festival. If you’re interested in hosting a booth to showcase and sell your handmade arts and crafts, please contact Randy (randy.phung@ecac.ca) or Ivis (ivis.tsang@ecac.ca) to register. The registration deadline is Sunday, January 18, 2026, or earlier if all booth spaces are filled. Reserve your spot as soon as possible!
2. Praise the Lord! An interview with Renata Yu (from CMC) with the theme “Light in the Tears” was broadcasted on Showers of Blessing on Dec. 6. The interview in Cantonese, with Chinese subtitle, is now released globally on YouTube. May God use it. May the testimony of her life reveal God’s faithfulness and glorify the Lord’s name, and may the hearts of those who hear be touched and drawn to the Lord by the gospel.
3. HK Tai Po Wang Fook Court Disaster Relief Fund – The C&MA Church Union Hong Kong has decided to support its eight C&MA churches with HK$1 million to provide affected believers and residents with emergency relief fund for funeral, medical expenses, daily living expenses etc. If you want to support, please send your donation directly to Canadian Chinese Alliance Churches Association (CCACA). Please indicate on the donation “Tai Po, HK”, with your name, address, email for them to issue donation receipt. Cheque and e-transfer are accepted. All the donation collected will then be wired to C&MA Church Union Hong Kong. Please send your donation before Dec 24 to allow them enough time to wire the funds to HK.
