Church Wide Ministry

1. Discernment Weekend for Elders, Pastors and their families be held at the Camp Nakamun from February 27 to March 1. Please remember them in prayer!

2. Short Term Mission to Cambodia August 10-24, 2026: We encourage brothers and sisters to prayerfully seek God’s guidance regarding participation. This mission trip is open to both adults and youth (Grade 10 and above). Participants should be able to communicate with basic English. If you are interested, please email church office (office@ecac.ca) to obtain a registration form. The deadline for submitting the registration form is March 4 at 12:00 noon. A Short‑Term Mission Information Session will be held today at 12:45 p.m. in Room 139. For enquiries, please contact Pastor Miranda.

3. International Women’s Day 2026: ECAC Community of Women Gathering Give To Gain — Celebrating Your Calling Join the women of ECAC for a high-energy “Speed-Networking” lunch! Share your passion, grow your faith, and build new sisterhood connections.

English Ministry

1. We’re excited to welcome Canadian worship leader and songwriter Jon Bauer to our English service on Sunday March 22. On Saturday March 21, Jon will also lead a worship seminar for our worship teams. Join us for this special weekend of worship.

2. ECAC is taking part in the Coldest Night of the Year walk this year in support of the Mustard Seed Old Strathcona, an organization that works with unhoused and vulnerable people in our own city. We did an amazing job of fundraising last year and would like to continue the momentum this year! Five teams from our Church are participating this year, including the ECAC Pastors and Elders, and our own English Ministry.

3. A special EMC-JMC (Youth) Sunday School session will be held on Sunday February 22, 10am in Room 139. Pastor Arthur will be teaching on the topic: “Unity in Diversity: The Christian Posture towards Theological Differences with regards to Women in Eldership”. 
A special session will be led by Pastor Tim on Wednesday February 25 at 7pm (online) to present the different theological views on women in eldership. Group discussion and prayer time will follow.

JMC-Youth & Children Ministry

Children & Youth Ministry:

1. Change Registration Date and Time for David Camp and VBS 2026: To accommodate parent’s convenience, there is a change in the registration time and date which is on March 17 at 9pm (evening). DC will be held August 3-7 at Camp Nakamun for kids who completed grade 3-8. VBS is on July 6-10 for kids who completed Kindergarten to Grade 6. 2. Volunteer Needed for First Impressions Team for Children’s Ministry: We would like to invite you to join our First Impressions Team to welcome children and parents, to set up and take down our station, to assist parents with Check Ins and Check Outs, to ensure the safety of our children, to assist our leaders with children, and to be a hallway monitor in case of emergencies.
