The General Membership Meeting (Sunday, March 15 at 11:15AM in the Dynamic Center): The agenda has been emailed to all current ECAC members. The agenda is also posted on the bulletin board outside the office and some hard copies at the welcome desk. The quorum for the meeting is 244 active voting members. This GMM is open to ECAC Active Members ONLY. Non-members may listen to the proceedings of the GMM in the lobby area.
The motion, “That women be allowed to serve as elders at Edmonton Chinese Alliance Church.”, will be voted on at the March 15 GMM, a two-thirds majority vote casted of “Yes” will be required for women to be eligible to serve as elders. Due to the importance of this vote, the quorum for this General Members Meeting is set at 244 (50%+1 of the total active membership).
Special arrangements for General Membership Meeting on March 15:
Joint English-Mandarin worship service in the Worship Center at 9:30am.
Cantonese worship service in the Dynamic Center at 9:30am.
JMC’s The Discovery from 9:30-10:45am as usual.
Childcare services for ages 5-12 will be provided in Room 145 from 10:45am-12:30pm.
A light lunch will be provided (please help cover the cost by cash donations).
InTouch café will be closed on that Sunday. However, free coffee and tea will be provided.
Please check your name on the membership list posted outside the office bulletin board. If you have any concerns, please contact the church office immediately.

Ordination Service: Pastor Phoebe Chan will be ordained on Sunday March 22 at 2pm in the Worship Center. Please come and join us for this momentous celebration as we affirm Pastor Phoebe’s calling as a minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ!
Installation Service: Pastor Tim Anderson will be installed as the English Ministry Congregation lead pastor on Sunday April 12 at the English service (11:15am).
Short Term Mission to Cambodia August 10-24, 2026:We encourage brothers and sisters to prayerfully seek God’s guidance regarding participation. This mission trip is open to both adults and youth (Grade 10 and above). Participants should be able to communicate with basic English. If you are interested, please email church office (office@ecac.ca) to obtain a registration form. The deadline for submitting the registration form has been extended to March 22. Pastor Michael Zhang is joining Going Beyond Missions to serve in Northern Thailand from March 7-25. Pray for God’s guidance and protection for Pastor Michael and the team members.
Pastor Miranda and Pastor Phoebe will attend the Kingfold Silent Retreat on March 8-15. Pastor Miranda will be on vacation from March 16-19.
