Church Wide Ministry
- We thank the Lord as Pastor Tim Anderson was installed as the lead pastor of English ministry last Sunday (April 12). Let us continue to pray for his pastoral leadership role at ECAC.
- Pastor Enoch Jeong has applied to be the assistant English pastor of ECAC. Candidacy weekend will be held on the weekend of May 8-10. Enoch will be joined by his wife, Jen. Enoch’s biographical information and the candidacy schedule are posted on the church office bulletin board.
- Pastor Phoebe Chan has resigned from her position at ECAC as of April 30. She will be on vacation from April 27-30. We thank the Lord for her ministry years at ECAC and pray that God’s will be done as she takes on a new role at Beulah Alliance Church.
- Leadership Onboarding: Discernment and Consensus will be held on Tuesday April 28 from 8:30-9:30pm on Zoom. This is a mandatory training course for all who are in positions of leadership at ECAC. All who wish to explore the topic of Christian leadership are also welcomed to attend!
- Please mark your calendar … The Mission Weekend is held from May 1 to May 3, 2026. Here is the schedule for the weekend:

- Theme: “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world” (Matt 24:14)
- Friday, May 1 at 7:30 pm – English, with translation to Mandarin
- Saturday, May 2 at 7 pm – English, with translation to Cantonese
- Sunday, May 3 – CMC Worship at 9:30 a.m. with translation to Cantonese
- Sunday, May 3 – EMC-MMC Joint Worship at 11:15 a.m. with translation to Mandarin
- There will be representatives as well as display materials from various mission organizations to introduce their ministry works to our congregation. We hope you will learn more about how God is using different ways to spread His Words not only in Edmonton, but also around the globe.
English Ministry
- Men’s Ministry: EMC is launching a men’s ministry that will take place the first Saturday of every month. Our first gathering will be on May 2 from 8-10am in the Dynamic Centre. More info to come!
- Child/Baby Dedication on April 26. Please let Pastor Tim or Pastor Phoebe know if you would like to have your child dedicated and fill out an application form.

JMC-Youth & Children Ministry
Children & Youth Ministry:
- Volunteer Needed for First Impressions Team for Children’s Ministry: We would like to invite you to join our First Impressions Team to welcome children and parents, to set up and take down our station, to assist parents with Check Ins and Check Outs, to ensure the safety of our children, to assist our leaders with children, and to be a hallway monitor in case of emergencies. There are two sessions: 9:15 am- 11:00 am & 11:00 am- 12:45pm. We will have a training TODAY from 1-2pm led by Jonah Lam in Room 139. If you are interested, please contact P.
