1. Summer Student Intern 2026: We are looking for 2 summer interns for Children’s Ministry and other additional programs/activities, full time ($15.00/hr. & 35 hr./week) for 13 weeks from May 25 to August 22. The job description is posted on the bulletin board outside church office. If you are interested in applying, please send in your resume to summerstudents@ecac.ca by TODAY (May 17).

2.  Leadership Onboarding:Discernment and Consensus will be held on Tuesday May 26 from 8:30-9:30pm on Zoom. This is a mandatory training course for all who are in positions of leadership at ECAC. All who wish to explore the topic of Christian leadership are also welcomed to attend!

3. Church Clean Up Day: Saturday, May 23 from 9:30-11:30 am. We are going to clean the parking lot, gardening (e.g. cut down weeds) and clean the inside of the church. Let us glorify God by cleaning up this church building He has given us!

5.  The Church Youth Choir and Handbell Choir will hold a Music Sharing Evening on May 29th (Friday) at 7:00 PM in the Worship Centre. Brothers and sisters are warmly invited to join us with family and friends in appreciating the young people’s achievements and supporting their learning in music ministry through your prayers and encouragement.

6.  Cambodia Short-term Mission on August 10-26.

• The total budget for the trip is $41,200. If congregation wants to support this short-term mission trip, please mark “Cambodia STM” on the offering envelope.
• Please pray for the planning of the trip and 10 team members (Pastor Miranda, Joannes & Tammy Wong, So Ling Tam, Cavan Chong, Wilson & Gina Wong, Cole Wong, Owen Wong, Tobiah Wong). More importantly, please pray that God will protect and keep the team from Satan’s attack.

7.  The Youth Short Term Mission on August 15-22: Serving in The House of Omeed at Port Moody in BC.

• The amount set for this designated fund is $8,000.. If you wish to support this STM, please mark “Port Moody STM” on the offering envelope.
• The youth will be fundraising for the House of Omeed and the rest of the trip through a couple of bake sales. Target is $10,150. Details will be followed.
• Please pray for the team members (10 youth) as they plan for the trip and the upcoming fundraising activities; may God grant them wisdom and strength for His Kingdom work.

8.  Staff Away: Pastor Derik is on vacation till May 19. Diana Poon is on vacation till May 20.
