1) This August, our Cambodia STM team will partner with a local ministry to serve youth ages 13–18 and their families. Many youth in Cambodia face difficult choices during their teenage years, with some leaving school early to help support their families. Through English lessons, computer activities, sports, music, Bible teaching, and relationship-building, we hope to encourage these young people, share the love of Christ, and point them toward a hopeful future.
2) The total budget for this mission trip is $41,200. A total of $12,259.50 has been received so far. If you would like to support financially, please mark “Cambodia STM’ on your offering envelope or e-transfer.
3) Mission Trip Encouragement Note Requested – Our Cambodia Missions Team is inviting our congregation to partner with us in a simple but meaningful way! As we prepare to serve in Cambodia, we’d love to bring handwritten notes of encouragement to the people we’ll be meeting and working alongside. These messages will be shared with:
• Teenagers who will be attending the community center classes
• Men & Women working in the local sewing or fabrication shop
Your words of hope, encouragement, and God’s love can make a lasting impact. A short note, a favorite Bible verse, or a prayer can remind someone that they are seen, valued, and loved.
How you can help:
• Write one or more encouraging notes.
• Keep messages positive, uplifting, and easy to understand. We will do our best to translate the messages and include.
• Include a Bible verse if you’d like
• Please do not include personal contact information
Submission deadline: Sunday August 2nd
Drop off Location: Please pick up a card at the Welcome Desk of your language group. After completing it, submit the card to the baskets at the Cantonese Ministry or English Ministry Welcome Desk.
4) Scan the QR code or website for receive updates, testimonies, and prayer requests throughout the preparation process and on the trip.
