Church Wide Ministry

  1. Praise the Lord! Pastor Enoch Jeong is officially installed as the Associate Pastor of English Ministry today!
  2. The House of Omeed STM team will be sharing their God-stories on Sunday October 11 at the English service (11:15am).
  3. Healthy Marriages Ministry – FamilyLife Canada’s Weekend Getaway marriage conference is taking place Nov 20-22, 2026 in Jasper at the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge. Scan the QR code for more details, and contact Michelle Lee at michelle.lee@ecac.ca to register at a group rate. 
  4. Interested in marriage mentoring? Mentor couples meet with you and your spouse, offering private, guided discussions on 14 topics developed by Familylife Canada. Contact michelle.lee@ecac.ca for more information.
  5. Baptismal service will be held during the English service on Sunday November 22 at 11:15 am for people from JMC and EMC.  Mandatory classes for youths who wish to be baptized will be held on the following Sundays from 1-3pm in Room 150: October 4 (today – Youth only), 11, 18, and 25. Interviews will be held on the weekends of Oct. 31-November 1 and November 1-2. Please contact jmc@ecac.ca for more information.
  6. Due to family responsibilities, Siobhan He has stepped down as office administrator for JMC and EMC. She is continuing to volunteer during the week to complete her responsibilities until a new office administrator can be found. If you are interested in applying for the position, please visit emc.ecac.ca/emc/careers/ or contact office@ecac.ca for more information.

English Ministry

  1. Baptism? Are you a new believer or simply have never made this public commitment to follow Jesus. Ask the office for an application or just come to the first class to hear more on October 11 at 9:30am in room 150. Feel free to ask for more info and RSVP with Pastor Tim (tim.anderson@ecac.ca) if you know you’re coming. Baptism date will be November 22.
  2. Membership? Want to explore church membership and hear more about our beliefs and vision? Classes are in tandem with the Baptism class starting October 11 at 9:30am in room 150. Grab an application from the office to get started and come to the first class to learn more!

JMC-Youth & Children Ministry

1. We are looking for people to serve in throughout the JMC. Sign up to for ministry opportunities and to serve using this QR code, via the ECAC website, or email jmc@ecac.ca.

2. Sparks & Glow Ministry – Dinner Volunteers Needed: Each Saturday,  Sept. 12, 2026–Jun. 29, 2027, workers (~20) serve kids from 3–5 PM, then share dinner before youth fellowship. Please reach out to gina.wong@ecac.ca. Please use the QR code to sign up. 

 

3. Parents and guardians of Deep Divers and Sparks & Glow kids! We collect tithes and offerings at each gathering. Please take this opportunity to teach your children the importance of making monetary offerings to the Lord!
