Seminar: Prayer and the Kingdom of God

This second presentation will explore what it means in the Lord’s Prayer when we pray: “Thy kingdom come, thy will be done.” How can we in and through our prayer be participants in God’s kingdom purposes in our city and in our world? How do we pray as those who are deeply engaged – witnessing in word and deed – to the kingdom of God? This will be a basic overview of the meaning and practice of prayer in the life of the Christian and in the life of the church.
