The Church has a Purpose

Before Christ ascended to heaven, he commanded the disciples to share the good news and “ to be [his] witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” In Acts 2:1-47, the disciples were filled with the Holy Spirit and preached the message of Christ. Many believed and were saved as they preached the power of Christ on the death and resurrection on the cross.
